As the Sundance Film Festival prepares to make its move to Boulder, our community has a unique opportunity—and responsibility—to get ahead of what’s coming.
This panel brings together leaders across housing, government, and tourism to talk openly about what this moment means for Boulder County. From licensing and regulation to guest experience and long-term impact, we’ll cover what homeowners, tenants, and industry professionals should be thinking about now.
More importantly, this isn’t just a panel—it’s a working session. We’ll create space for real questions, shared perspectives, and practical next steps so our community can approach Sundance Film Festival thoughtfully and proactively.

His sets consist of a wide range of covers but his many originals are what everyone in the audience walks away remembering. He will make you laugh, cry, but mostly smile any time he performs.”

Live Music: Foxes Float Trip
Carly Fox leads Foxes Float Trip, a jammy folkpunk acoustic trio blending improvisation with honest storytelling and rich instrumentation. Alongside Carly’s GenX-Joni-Mitchelly, Art-Garfunkely vocals and rhythms you’ll find Dead-inspired percussionist spouse Steve Fox and funky-sweet cellist Rex Westen, bringing songs to life with rhythm and resonance. Expect tunes about family, grief, ghosts, dreams, and other beautifully complicated middle-aged things—all delivered with warmth, wit, and emotion.

Mile High Babywearing loves bringing people together. Join them for a meetup at Relish the first Saturday of each month by Aces, our ice cream shop.
Blood Drive
Springtime is a critical season for blood donations, and in May, Vitalant is honoring mothers everywhere—especially those who have faced complications during childbirth. One in 83 women will require a blood transfusion during childbirth. Your blood drive will be part of our Donate for Mothers campaign, helping ensure lifesaving blood is available when it’s needed most.
The Vitalant bloodmobile will be in our parking lot and is open to the public.

Karall was an employee of an electrical company that installed lighting in the Johnson-Eisenhower Tunnel and was one of only three women who worked on the project. Sit back and enjoy a drink and snack at Relish Food hall and hear all about the experiences of this fascinating tradeswoman!

The Lofty Pines are an acoustic trio based out of Erie, Colorado. The band was formed in 2022 and is comprised of Ben Knighten (Guitar, Vocals, Mandolin, Songwriting), Darren Thornberry (Guitar, Vocals), and Carey Lewis (Fiddle, Mandolin).
With poignant songwriting that explores themes such as hope and overcoming our demons, their music “beautifully captures the essence of Folk, Americana, and Bluegrass, weaving these classic genres into its sonic fabric.” (Jukebox Time)
In an era of overproduction and layered music, The Lofty Pines’ music is a nod to the simplicity of acoustic instruments and vocals coming together in a refreshing way.
The performance is free and open to the public.

He is the lead singer of Alt-Indie Jazz Fusion band, Natural Motives and his solo debut album titled, 'Heavy Eyes' released on all major streaming platforms in 2024.
